The Christmas Tree has become the main symbol of Christmas; baby Jesus has little connection to it. God's Christmas Tree is the Cross of Calvary. God hung His gift on it -- His Son Jesus. I put up a 5-ft. cross with Christmas lights on it.

John the Baptist is presented in the prologue of John's gospel as the prophesied forerunner to the arrival of God's Messiah. He prepared the people of Israel for the Messiah by preaching repentance and obedience. Repentance was needed then, and in these last days as well.

In John's description of heaven, he saw the river of life, and on either side of the river was the tree of life, and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. Healing in heaven? From what? Illness? Injuries? And nations in heaven?
