When fear grips our heart and in those times when we feel all alone, deserted and feel that there is no one to help us or stand by us, let’s remember that God sees and He is by our side. The life of Hagar gives us a glimpse of God’s presence in the midst of life’s hardest moments.
We read in Genesis 21:17, “God heard the boy crying, and from heaven the angel of God spoke to Hagar, "What are you troubled about, Hagar? Don't be afraid. God has heard the boy crying.”(GNB)
