Sermon # 5 - Filled With The Word And Empowered By The Holy Spirit
Contributed on Jun 19, 2026
As believers in the New Covenant we need to receive God’s word, obey it and allow the Holy Spirit to fill and anoint us. When we do so, God steps in to fight our battles and when God is with us victory is ours for no one can stand against us
We read in Judges 7:2, The LORD said to Gideon, “The people with you are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hand, lest Israel boast over me, saying, ‘My own hand has saved me.’ The background to the above mentioned verse is that the people of God were oppressed by the Midianites. ...read more

Sermon 1 - Qualities God Desires
Contributed on May 8, 2026
What did God see in Gideon that He visited him and chose him to be the judge of Israel? These are qualities that God desires of us as His children and may we too strive to be those whom God can use to bless those around us.
In Judges 6:12-13 we read, “And the angel of the LORD appeared to him and said to him, “The LORD is with you, O mighty man of valor.” And Gideon said to him, “Please, my lord, if the LORD is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all his wonderful deeds that our fathers ...read more
