I Want Proof!
Contributed on Apr 21, 2025
Thomas finally met the risen Savior. This encounter shows us what it means to trust Jesus with our doubts. The story of Thomas gives hope to doubters, to those who say, “I want proof!”.
Alba 4-20-2025 I WANT PROOF! John 20:24-31 Have you ever been in a situation where someone told you something, but you just couldn't believe it? You wanted proof? Then you are like Thomas. Thomas is one of the better known disciples of Jesus, even though not much is said about him. ...read more

Warning!!
Contributed on Apr 15, 2025
Many warnings are ridiculous, but there are also many that, if heeded, could save our lives. Like taking cover when a tornado hits, or turning around when the bridge is out. There are other warnings that are very important as well, and if not heeded will cause lasting hurt to our spiritual lives.
Alba 4-13-2025 WARNING!! I Corinthians 4:14-21 If there is danger ahead, it is good to have a warning. And it is wise to pay attention to the warning, whether it is a tornado siren, or a sign that says “Bridge Out”. But some warnings are worthless, ridiculous really, almost a joke. For ...read more

The Danger Of Pride
Contributed on Apr 7, 2025
Whenever we accomplish something good, it is only natural to have a positive emotional reaction. There is nothing wrong with celebrating an achievement, but there is a darker side to pride that can be ugly.
Alba 4-6-2025 THE DANGER OF PRIDE I Corinthians 4:6-13 In the Peanuts cartoon, one day Linus tells Charlie Brown, “When I get big, I'm going to be a humble, little country doctor. I'll live in the city, and every morning I'll get up, climb into my sports car, and zoom into the ...read more

Be Found Faithful
Contributed on Mar 31, 2025
God is faithful, and He expects His people to be faithful. Someone has said, “True faith shows up in faithfulness. Not everyone can sing or preach, but all can be faithful.” Another observed, “The world crowns success; God crowns faithfulness.”

The Wisdom Of This World
Contributed on Mar 24, 2025
The wisdom of this world is finite, foolishness and futile. The wisdom of God will make you wise to salvation.
Alba 3-23-2025 THE WISDOM OF THIS WORLD I Corinthians 3:18-23 Chris Surber, a minister in Florida, told about being a child growing up in North Central California. Remember the movie, Ben Hur? It came out in 1959. The movie won 11 Oscars and was over three and a half hours long. The most memorable scene in the film is the chariot race. The (Unwise) Wisdom Of The World
Contributed on Mar 24, 2025
The world in its wisdom may tell us that there is no such thing as truth. That there is no such thing as that which is right and that which wrong. But our experience, of even the simplest of human experiences, will cause us to question that. If you were to ask a gas station attendant for ...read more
