Where Is Your Faith? (Lecture)

To establish that Jesus is God over the heavens and the earth. Jesus demonstrated His authority to rebuke the wind and command the Sea to be still. The power of His words quieted the storm and allayed the fears of His disciples. Their fear of perishing prompted Him to ask: “Where is your faith?”

In verse 39 we see the deity of Christ. Only God can rebuke the wind and calm the sea. The only reason Bible writers could put such contrasting pictures of Jesus side by side is because they were true. He was truly man, and truly God.
