  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: The sermons are designed to be sermon starters. My goal is not to write a sermon for someone but to inspire a spark that helps people build better sermons.

  • Family: My wife is the love of my life. We have four children whom we spend a lot of purposable time with, Kai, Rebekah, Leah and Hannah
  • What my parents think of my sermons: My mother was always respectful of my ministry even though she was a believer. Thank the Lord she became a believer 6 years before her passing. I pastored in another town.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She appreciates them more now than when I first started. Great encourager and helpmate.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Always remember I am still learning and most of it is done behind the pulpit when God is giving me what to say.
  • Books that have had an impact: Leadership books by John Maxwell, Bill Hybels, Rick Warren Church growth books
  • Hobbies: Computers, sports,
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Live for the Lord because your family needs to see you do it.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: My grandmother who has Alzheimers interrupting me while I am preaching.
