Dont You Care That We Are Perishing?

Have you ever realized that Jesus would get frustrated at the fact that we didnt have faith in Him or what He could do? It seems to be the biggest problem because when the disciples woke him up and even asked him a very bad question in a very bad way. They asked like this.... Dont you care that we perish? They woke up Jesus by accusing Him of not caring.

38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?

Now i dont know about you but if i got late coming home and got there with all the shopping i have done for my wife and kids then my wife greets me with the words Dont you care that we are hungry? These words would obviously break my heart even though i would be carrying all the bread,chicken,biscuits and milk that they needed.

Studying the bible one will realize that Jesus's big problem was simply the faith of his disciples because when Jesus is woken up with that accusation he didnt congratulate them for waking Him up. Instead He admonished them in a way that showed that He expected them to have had faith in the face of that storm and wind.

After they woke Him up with the false accusation He went ahead and rebuked the wind and told the sea to be still, then He turned to those who accused Him of not loving them and actually asked them two questions.....

40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?

Question 1: Why are you so fearful?

Question 2: How is it that you have no faith?

In the face of adversity lets check our hearts and honestly see wether we end up thinking that Jesus doesnt care. Let us check ourselves to see wether we are allowing fear in us faced by the circumstances. Secondly let us have faith instead of having no faith. Be cause it is in the lack of faith that you end up accusing God.

Always remind yourself that God cares for you.

Faith is the ingredient for overcoming fear,and Fear the ingredient for accusing God.
