In many sectors of our society “tolerance” is equated with “love.” But is that a biblical concept? God is love; but was He tolerant of Sodom’s sin? Perhaps current assumptions about what love is should be examined in the light of biblical revelation.

Jesus is asking us today not so much as “how can I find a gracious God? But “How can I find God in my enemy?” And, how can we be children of God in real life without loving our enemies?
