The power of the cross is so great that we've chosen to make this cross the emblem. We look at that cross and we don't just think about death, we think about life.

When reading Isaiah 53 one could almost believe the prophet Isaiah lived during the days of Jesus and was at the cross when he died. However these words were written approximately 700 years before Jesus. Again, 700 years before Jesus Christ.

Why Light Doesn’t Always Lead To Sight Series

John doesn’t blink when he says the ultimate reason the Jewish people don’t believe is because of God. What you are seeing in Jesus’ ministry is the same that Isaiah saw in his ministry. God has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts.
