Death Comes First

We think that Life comes first, and death follows. But, think of death happening first, then Life follows. It happens when we first believe. We were DEAD in sin, until God brings us the word of LIFE. The butterfly seems to DIE, then comes back to LIFE!

God's plan is THE SEED PLAN. You may count the seeds in an apple, but only God can count the apples in a seed. We measure success by what we are reaping... Maybe God is counting success by what you are planting today? Can we see the beauty of the seed?

We have not been called to analyze soil. We are called to sow the seed.The seed speaks of the call of God, the growth. faith and praise, the death and resurrection. Success is not measure by today's harvest but rather by the seeds you planted.

Not The Jesus They Wanted Series

The crowds were looking for a Christ who would "remain" and lead them into glorious earthly kingdom, but Jesus was talking about being "lifted up" and not being with them forever. The Jesus they wanted wasn't the Jesus they were getting.
