  • Guilty But Pardoned

Contributed by Glenn Pease on Mar 6, 2021
    based on 1 rating

Jesus was our Savior on the cross, but He was also our Judge, and He pardoned us for all of our unknown sins of omission that we can never confess. His forgiveness was universal and comprehensive.

If God did not pardon the guilty there would be no Gospel, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Even so, we feel there is a danger in being too merciful. Abraham Lincoln was accused of this during the Civil War when he seemed willing to pardon just about anyone. He would ...read more

  • Overcoming Fear Series

Contributed by Andrew Dixon on Jun 18, 2021
    based on 1 rating

More people have succumbed to fear than to deadly diseases. Fear causes weakness, therefore when the Lord said "Fear not", He also said "I will strengthen you". If we need to overcome fear and lead a healthy life, we need to learn about this from God's Word.

Overcoming Fear We read in Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Surely I will help you. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” (TLV) There are two phrases in the above mentioned verse that I wish to highlight in this ...read more

    based on 1 rating

You may have observed the additional security being provided by the government for those who are in high positions, especially if there is a threat to their life. However, as children of God we need to be reminded that our protection comes not from men, but from God Himself.

Under Angelic Protection We read in Psalm 91:11, “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.” (ESV) Psalm 91 in its entirety portrays most vividly the protection of God that is available to all those who take refuge in God and make Him their dwelling place. The ...read more

  • Satanic Success Series

Contributed by Glenn Pease on Mar 24, 2021
     | 1,647 views

The Christian must forget tradition and art, and build his concept of Satan on the only reliable source of information, and that is the Bible.

William Congreve said, “If I were a painter I would draw the devil like an idiot, a driveller with a bib and bells.” All I can say to that is that I am glad he is not a painter, for he would only serve the devil’s cause by painting him as a driveling idiot. I agree with Thomas Lodge who said, ...read more

  • Guilty But Pardoned Series

Contributed by Glenn Pease on Mar 26, 2021
     | 2,836 views

I cannot give away what I do not have, and so we must first be forgiven in order to forgive. We must believe in God's free grace of forgiveness before we can be free to forgive those who sin against us.

If God did not pardon the guilty there would be no Gospel, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Even so, we feel there is a danger in being too merciful. Abraham Lincoln was accused of this during the Civil War when he seemed willing to pardon just about anyone. He would defend ...read more

Contributed by Scott Maze on Jun 4, 2021

Human pride is rooted in two kinds of self-deception. One is the deception that I can handle my own problems. And the other is the deception that nobody can handle my problems.

The New Testament compares the church to a bride and God to the bridegroom. All through our New Testaments we see a familiar image to help us understand and appreciate the significance of the church. Yet, there are dangers to the church. Be steadfast and allow God and His work to be the number one priority in your life. There will be times when we may feel discouraged after working hard for God, but the Lord says, “labor is not in vain.” All your work is written in the eyes of the Lord.

Notice that the full armor of God that Paul had outlined for every Christian is complete but without back covers meaning to say that a Christian warrior is designed to always equipped to advance, and never given instruction to back down, retreat or surrender.

All early Christians understood that Jesus was a descendant of David; but He did not derive his authority from his personal ancestry. The Messiah must be thought of, not as a national monarch but as the lord of all, exalted far above David.
