  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: What's most important right now is that we really love Jesus and really live out holiness, in the fear of God, on fire for God, moving heaven and earth to bring the gospel to the world through evangelism and discipleship.
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: The Truth Project by Del Tacket was a game changer for me
  • One of my favorite illustrations: The story of Holmes and Watson sleeping under the stars...
  • Family: I'm single, but my parents and extended family mean a lot to me.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: They love all of them, I wonder why!
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: No spouse, no comments.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Relax and enjoy it Don't waste your life by succeeding at things that don't matter
  • Books that have had an impact: The Bible is obviously #1. Other books that impacted me greatly include Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis, Peace with God by Billy Graham, and the 7 Spirits by William Booth.
  • Hobbies: I enjoy writing, reading, coffee shops, mom n pop restaurants, hiking, biking, movies, music, and anything to do with our Lord!
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: I will be preaching many, many more times, but if I knew next Sunday was my last chance to preach I would preach about Jesus Christ in the gospel of John and how we all need Jesus and must persist in the walk of Christ, not falling away, but living out holiness and attaining to eternal life.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: Let's see... nothing that I can remember.
  • What I want on my tombstone: He died for Jesus and he lived for Jesus.
