• Experience: Paul Davidson is actually a pseudonym. There are situations in the world where providing too much identifying information could be harmful to ministries and to followers of Jesus Christ, and we don’t desire to place anyone, myself and my family included, so casually in harm’s way. We are in the States after having served the Lord as church planting missionaries in Southeast Asia. Currently teaching and preaching when and where the Lord directs while preparing for whatever the Lord has in store for this next season of our walk with Him.
• Comment to those looking at my sermons: Should you find any of it useful, you are more than welcome to use whatever I've posted (in whole, in part, for a turn of phrase, for insights/ideas, etc.) as the Holy Spirit directs you... It's all for God's kingdom and for His glory!
• Sermon or series that made a difference: It was April of 1993 when I heard someone preach on the “Parable of the Sower” from Matthew 13. We had just survived a very serious car accident, and God used that message to reach into my heart and change me forever. Thank you, Jesus!
• Family: My wife and I have been married a good many years, and we have several adult children of whom we are so proud! I can tell you that being a grandparent is incredibly rewarding… 5 stars – highly recommend!
• Books that have had an impact: Other than the Bible, "Radical" by David Platt has probably impacted me more than any other, though I'm also a fan of anything written by CS Lewis, Francis Chan, and "The Hiding Place" by Corrie Ten Boom
• Hobbies: Cycling, hiking, camping... basically anything that gets me outside
• Something funny that happened while preaching: More unusual than funny, but after the sermon was over, someone pulled out a pentagram and tarot cards and was starting to spread them on the floor before I realized what he was doing and stopped him.
