I love this story! It’s a story of incredible, undeserved kindness. We live in a harsh world, and while there are stories of kindness out there, it’s far too uncommon. The world will show kindness to its own, but we are called to show kindness to anyone and everyone, even our enemies. But why?

The God of Mephibosheth is a God of restoration, a God who lifts up the fallen, and a God who will not forget His promises to us. He is a God of grace and mercy, who calls us to His table even when we feel unworthy.
