Construction workers wear helmets on the job. Firefighters wear helmets. Soldiers in combat wear helmets. The purpose for the helmet is understandable. It is there to protect a very important part of the body, the head. We who are Christians also have helmets that we can and should wear.

There is a belief in the church today that a person called to minister can still be effectual in reaching others for the sake of the Gospel because “the gifts and calling of God are without repentance” (Rom 11:29 KJV).
