Jude was setting out the points of our common salvation, when the Holy Spirit urged on him the importance and urgency to defend that salvation. That overtook him, and he asked the readers to “contend earnestly” for the faith. He appealed to them to do that.

We might think that Titus had a boring life. He is never mentioned in the book of Acts. But when we piece together the life of Titus from Galatians, 2 Corinthians, 2 Timothy and the book of Titus we realize Titus had one of the most adventure filled ministries of anyone we find in the Bible.
