If we want to experience a miracle, we must first invite Jesus into our lives. Jesus was invited to the wedding at Cana. If Jesus had not been invited to that wedding the miracle would not have taken place.

There was no room to be found for Mary and Joseph to stay in Bethlehem? Seriously? You'd think someone would have taken pity on a VERY pregnant woman that day, but no one did. Why not?

Several years ago, a church held a Christmas pageant with a group of 4 year-olds. Everything went along pretty well until Mary and Joseph “arrived” at the inn. The 4 year-old Joseph asked: “Do you have any room for us?”. “No,” replied the innkeeper, “the inn is full.” “But it’s so cold outside, ...read more

Some say they will obey God and don't, Others resist, then go. The Jews in Jesus day did not think they had to obey Jesus so they did not go to work in the vineyard. No serving when you should is a failure.

The Ones “Go” and The Ones Who Don’t “Go” Kelly Durant Matthew 21:28 “But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go, work today in my vineyard.’ 29 He answered and said, ‘I will not,’ but ...read more

This is a very disturbing story where a woman, at her wits end, was actually ignored by Jesus, who favoured the Jews. Why? God ticks Jesus off here. Did Jesus sin here? It certainly needs investigation.

This sermon ends a series that has explored the ’corrupt generation’ we find ourselves living in. When realizing they had crucified the Messiah, faithful Jews at Pentecost asked, "What shall we do?" The response is, "Got Jesus?"

Contributed by Paul Robinson on Sep 27, 2022
     | 2,227 views

Notice two categories that Jesus mentions: 1. The sheep (saved) Sheep may be stupid, but they are also loyal and will quickly follow their leader. Read John 10:1-5. Sheep will recognize the voice of their shepherd, and they will not follow someone who might be imitating the shepherd. 2. The ...read more
