Miracles Change Lives
Contributed by Ian Johnson on Mar 17, 2004 (message contributor)
Summary: If we want to experience a miracle, we must first invite Jesus into our lives. Jesus was invited to the wedding at Cana. If Jesus had not been invited to that wedding the miracle would not have taken place.

MIRACLES CHANGE LIVES
Ian Johnson Papatoetoe Elim church 27:07:2003.
John 2:1-8
1 The next day Jesus’ mother was a guest at a wedding celebration in the village of Cana in Galilee. 2 Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the celebration. 3 The wine supply ran out during the festivities, so Jesus’ mother spoke to him about the problem. “They have no more wine,” she told him.
4 “How does that concern you and me?” Jesus asked. “My time has not yet come.”
5 But his mother told the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
6 Six stone waterpots were standing there; they were used for Jewish ceremonial purposes and held twenty to thirty gallons each. 7 Jesus told the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” When the jars had been filled to the brim, 8 he said, “Dip some out and take it to the master of ceremonies.” So they followed his instructions.
9 When the master of ceremonies tasted the water that was now wine, not knowing where it had come from (though, of course, the servants knew), he called the bridegroom over. 10 “Usually a host serves the best wine first,” he said. “Then, when everyone is full and doesn’t care, he brings out the less expensive wines. But you have kept the best until now!” 11 This miraculous sign at Cana in Galilee was Jesus’ first display of his glory. And his disciples believed in him. 12 After the wedding he went to Capernaum for a few days with his mother, his brothers, and his disciples.
: from the wedding at Cana
God is a God of miracles. Jesus, during his ministry in this world performed many miracles. The first miracle of Jesus was turning the water into wine at the wedding of Cana. We can learn many truths from this incident.
THE MESSAGE
mIRACLES CHANGE LIVES: from the wedding at Cana
1.AN HONOURED GUEST
John 2:1,2
As Jesus & His disciples were invited to the wedding in Cana, So Jesus is inviting us to a celebration of Joy. A Holy party in honor of our soon coming king.
If we want to experience a miracle, we must first invite Jesus into our lives.
Jesus was invited to the wedding at Cana.
If Jesus had not been invited to that wedding the miracle would not have taken place.
We must invite Jesus into every area of our lives. We must seek His blessing and His guidance in every aspect of our lives.
VISION OF THE :Lord of the harvest (Evangelists bound by cords)

The Prophecy of Awakening Giants:
July 2003: Ian Johnson had this message from the Lord of the Harvest. The picture unfolded thus: Many servants with scythes at their side were asleep in great fields of ripe barley unaware of the huge task ahead. The Lord of the harvest arrives and suddenly the people awake and begin to worship the Lord of the harvest, raising thir scythes in the air and dancing in pure joy.
As they worshiped and danced I became aware that were giants in the field also. (Evangelists) These where not asleep but bound by cords and powerless to arise. As the people continued to worship some were also beginning to realise the enormous task (The Harvest) and weere in fact using their scythes to harvest as much of the barley as they could while others continued to worship the Lord. As this co-operation continued the cords began to break on the giants and they stood up and where able to use their scythes in the harvest. One swipe of the giant’s scythe achieved more than 1000 of the others would be able to. (End time evangelists)
The Lord spoke!
"For too long my Evangelists have been bound by the leaders of my body. Jealousy ruled the hearts of many and hurtful words and judgements have seen my harvesters bound and unable to work as they should. The Lord himself has now come to oversee the harvest. His presence is causing a new worship to arise that will cause the cords that bind my Evangelists to break, and I will direct them in the harvest. For the harvest is ripe and I have come to oversee the harvest."
In recent weeks the Lord confirmed his blessing on this unity when 7 church leaders agreed to work for the harvest in a public meeting in Pukekohe, NZ. Psalm 133 came to life with oil literally running down the walls of the hall. The Lord of the harvest commanded a blessing.
2.PRAYER CHANGES THINGS
John 2:3,4
The second step for a miracle is to intercede before the Lord, and to make our requests known to him.
At the wedding in Cana when they ran out of wine, Mary the mother of Jesus made it known to Jesus. (Honest & humble)
