Some form of the word “Seek” is used in the Bible over 150 times, therefore when we encounter a verse that clearly states we are to “seek first” something, that should clearly get our attention.

The great thing is that as Christians, we don't have to wait until there is proclamation, or wait for a certain day in order to pray. The call to pray is stated clearly in scripture. One place especially clear is found in II Chronicles 7:14.
