Many schools, where I live, begin the academic year in August. Not very many students understand, though, that there is a final exam at the end of this year in spring. In the same way, we believers will have a final exam when we stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

In this last message for this "Go thy way" series, Felix a Roman governor, talked with Paul about the Christian faith several times. He listened but told Paul "go thy way and I'll talk to you about this when I have the time". Sadly, he never found the time.

Felix represents many people intrigued by the gospel but recognizes that surrendering to it means losing status, power, or control of their own lives. Mere exposure to truth does not necessarily enlighten the heart, and Felix is an excellent example of that.
