Isaiah lived some seven hundred years prior to Jesus, and yet he revealed much about the significance of His life and death. Jesus fulfilled every prophecy regarding His first advent. I am thankful He came to provide the means of our salvation.

This world is overtaken by sorrow in people’s lives. Sorrow came about through the entry of sin in Eden and marks so much of human living. Jesus was the Man of Sorrows and He lived among sorrow and took our sorrows on the cross. His was a sorrowful road as we see what He did for us.
