In order to press on, to move forward, in the Christian life, we must first "forget" the past. We must forget the sins of others and our own sins and mistakes; we must forget our successes and failures; we must forget our vision of how our life would turn out.

The word "worship" means ascribing worth to God. In America, worship doesn’t cost us much; and so, we have basically forgotten God's real worth. But, according to the Scripture, worship involves sacrifice, which is very costly.
