Hurting people? Yes the world is full of them. Verses for today speak of those who hurt, the broken heartedness and sorrow; of those who are crushed by circumstances and the world. Jesus’ ministry is to the downtrodden. The Lord delivers those who are afflicted, and gives them hope.
