Today we begin a new series in the book of Lamentations. So few people read and study this amazing book written by Jeremiah after the fall of Jerusalem and Judah. It is a sad book dealing with the nation’s sorrow and sin that caused it. It is most informative.

Jeremiah is faced with the scene of destruction all around and he describes different events and how they affected people and material things. When people turn from God, the inevitable must happen, and that is God’s judgement upon the existing order.
