Most churches observe Father’s Day and Mother’s Day, but very seldom mention anything about Grandparents day. But in some ways, Grandparents Day is as important as Father’s day and Mother’s day.

When Paul wrote to Timothy, he mentions Timothy’s Grandmother. The great thing is that as Christians, we don't have to wait until there is proclamation, or wait for a certain day in order to pray. The call to pray is stated clearly in scripture. One place especially clear is found in II Chronicles 7:14.
