The God Of Hope

Even though the English word “hope’ may have an element of uncertainty in it, the Greek word in the New Testament always speaks of a sure expectation of some good outcome or positive result. There is a certainty in the hope given in the biblical record.

A Song Of Hope Series

Mary and all Israel hoped in a Savior who would provide His people with salvation from sin and redemption unto God. In this passage, Mary was finally able to confidently declare her hope aloud through song and call Him “God my Savior.”

If we don’t allow the hustle and bustle of the world’s hectic race to find the perfect gift, and if we step back and look at the real reason we celebrate, our hearts are happier. We smile more. Hopefully we get a little bit closer to those we love, not always, but we can hope for that.
