God accused the Israelite priests of sinning in two ways... treating the sacrifice with contempt and teaching the people to do the same. We, as a Priesthood of Believers, have the same job as the priests and perhaps are guilty of the same failures.

In the Book of Malachi we see Israelites dishonoring the Lord by offering animals as sacrifices that they would cull out of their herds and flocks. We also see priests dishonoring the Lord by actually offering these detestable non-sacrifices. Do we offer the Lord our best or our worst?
