What we believe about God affects our attitude and behaviour towards Him. Do we see the love of God? Do we see the greatness of God?

The theme of this passage is rather clear because of one word repeated a few times - faithless (ESV), broken faith (NIV), treachery (KJV), being unfaithful. • The people has been unfaithful to God and to one another. 3. Return To God With All Your Heart

We see the longing of God's heart for His people to return to Him. They were not bringing in the tithes and offerings because their hearts have strayed from God. It is a problem of the heart.
