Christ is the Door. In Egypt, the blood of the lamb was taken, and the hyssop applied the blood to the door, which made the form of a cross as it went from the doorposts to the lintel and the blood ran down. At Calvary, hyssop was taken, offered to the Door on the cross, He who is the Lamb of God.
