Detours come during Development, Disasters, Accidents, Protocol, Apprehension (Sifting, Dragnet), etc. God rarely takes us to our destiny in straight lines - He normally has some development that requires detours. Abraham's detour was 25 years, Jacob's was about 20 years, etc. And yours?

When God Wrestles With Family Tensions

We use avoidance, anger, anxiety, and aloneness to manage family tensions. We even use self-centered prayer. But when we let God wrestle with us, we are changed and we accept vulnerability in family life.
