Before the situation with Sennacherib had been settle, Hezekiah had become very ill. In his weaken condition, Hezekiah received this unsettling message from God’s prophet, Isaiah. "Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live." How does he respond.

No verdict is beyond the reach of God's mercy and power. Like Hezekiah, when we cry to God in faith and sincerity, the sentence can be reversed. He still hears prayers, sees tears, and responds to the cries of His people.

The God we serve is a God of supernatural reversals. He turns the tide, breaks protocols, overrides verdicts, and brings life out of death. The same mouth that said, “Set your house in order,” also said, “I have added to your days.” There is no situation too far gone that He cannot reverse.
