About Mitchell
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: I'm just a retired aircraft mechanic that God has called to be a Pastor. I enjoy serving the fine folks that God has allowed me to shepherd. I hope God will bless you through these messages.
  • Family: My wife Rachel and I have been married for 32 years and have six children ranging in age from ten to twenty eight. We also have 3 wonderful sons-in-law and one beautiful daughter-in-law. AND..... 8 awesome grandchildren. Our oldest son Eli is a pastor also.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: My parents both attended my church until they were called home. I had the great honor of preaching both of their funerals. I know there had to be times when they didn't like a message I preached but they never said so. They were the greatest parents and I sure miss them.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Don't chase strays, they'll bite you!!! LOL
  • Books that have had an impact: Frank Peretti's "This Present Darkness" and "Piercing the Darkness".
  • Hobbies: Aviation and anything mechanical.
  • What I want on my tombstone: He trusted in the blood of Jesus and that alone.
