The Bible is also very plain that you do not have to be baptized in order to be saved. Water doesn't save anyone regardless of whether it is a spoon full or a tank full. The only liquid in the Bible that saves is the Blood of Jesus Christ.

In changing the water into wine, Jesus demonstrated his authority over all things down to the smallest molecule. This was a miracle for transformation designed to convince the disciples of who he was. Water doesn’t change its molecular makeup without the authority of the Creator.

There is no other disgraceful form of death than to be sentenced to death by hanging on a pole, by a tree or any other device to suspend a person between heaven and earth. Our Lord died in that manner. Jesus knew the type of shameful form of death he must endure; yet he went to the hanging anyway.

On March 18, 1875, President Ulysses S. Grant nominated Judge Isaac C. Parker to hold the bench of the U.S. Court for the Western District of Arkansas.
