In The Church of The Nazarene we have what we call altars but they are altars of prayer not true altars on which a sacrifice can be made. Why do some churches have altars of sacrifice while others do not? What does the Bible say?

It is because of the Love of the Heavenly Father that we receive love because of what Jesus did for us on the cross. The love of the Father for the Son is so strong and real. This love includes US! We receive the same relationship with God the father because of His love of the Son.

One Scottish preacher, Bill Freel said, “If you grasp the significance of Melchizedek you have entered into a spiritual wonderland”. In Genesis 14 Melchizedek is observed historically. In Psalm 110 Melchizedek is spoken of prophetically and in Hebrews 5 & 7 Melchizedek is applied doctrinally.
