After all the background we have been given, the writer to the Hebrews brings it together to a conclusion: Jesus atoned for our sins in a greater way than even the high priest could on the Day of Atonement.

God often makes a point by making a double point! He wants us to rest in the certainty of His promises, in the certainty of Jesus Christ.

We can anticipate knowing people who once claimed to follow Jesus but then later decided to disavow Him. How do we account for this?
