This characteristic of love appears to be rather out-of-date. I mean, we are living in a world that is torn apart by all kinds of hatreds, national conflicts, racial strife, class warfare, & even religious hostility. Yet Paul says, "Love is not rude."

Do we really believe that most non-Christians are lost? Psalm 74:20 says “The dark places of the earth (where the love of God is not known) are full of the habitations of cruelty.” (selfishness, hatred, greed, strife, & violence.) Do they need a Savior, too? YES!
