In Acts 3:15, the Bible calls Jesus the “author of life.” It is of utmost importance that we realize that the origin of abundant life is Jesus Christ; and that His abundant life is everlasting, both now and in the age to come eternal.

The Nicene Creed says, in reference to the Spirit, “We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life, who proceedeth from the Father and the Son." The early church recognized the truth that the Holy Spirit is One who gives life.
