When You Feel Abandoned

Emotional abandonment is a powerful feeling. It makes us feel like we are unwanted, forgotten, left out, and ignored. We often feel this way when we feel that we are cut off from God or unnecessary to God. What does God call me to do when I feel distant and and abandoned by Him?
