Peter takes up 4 examples of wickedness to prove judgement comes on evil. A depraved society is one where God is ejected/expelled and humanism and rationalism take over. We look at the difficulty of “sons of God” in Genesis 6; at pernicious angels; at Sodom, and in Lot’s time.

Angels' music, while sweet, was not designed to be a resting place for a baby's head. Since cribs are not found in stables, the only thing that could serve that purpose was something as simple as the feeding trough of the stable animals ... the manger.
