"It is well", must have been the theme phrase of this Shunamite woman's life. She knew that there are things in life that we cannot control and yet she demonstrated her faith in God by keeping the standard in the face of extreme trials, knowing that He was in complete control.

Don’t Limit Your Miracle!

The woman’s limitation to believe staff can work hindered the miracle. If she would have trusted that the staff was enough for God to heal, that would have been enough for her miracle to manifest. This teaches us an important lesson that we can limit the power of God through our lack of faith.

When the Shunammite woman's son became ill and died she went to the prophet Elisha. The woman recognized that it was at the Word of the Lord that she gave birth to her son. And she believed that it would be at the Word of the Lord that her son would live again!
