  • Experience: It’s hard to believe it’s been over 18 years since I first stepped into church ministry. It still feels fresh and exciting. What drew me in then still stirs my heart today: the joy of digging into God’s Word, uncovering fresh insights, and shaping them into sermons that connect with real life. Preaching isn’t just about standing behind a pulpit for me; it’s about sparking hope, inviting people to meet Jesus, and watching faith take root in unexpected places. I carry a deep passion for those who haven’t yet experienced His love and for seeing whole communities transformed, not just spiritually, but emotionally and socially too. Whether it’s through pastoral care, mentoring, or lending a hand in social causes, I count it a privilege to help people encounter the kind of grace that changes everything.

There are many laws that govern our world - the law of gravity, the law of motion, the law of cause and effect. But Paul reminds us of another law, the spiritual law of sowing and reaping. It’s a principle that works silently, steadily, and surely. You can’t break it, you can only prove it true.

Someone once said, “You may be the only Bible some people will ever read.” That’s a sobering thought. The way we speak, work, and react when we are wronged often becomes the first sermon unbelievers hear.

Working in the corporate world for more than 18 years, I know well the everyday struggles we face. We’ve seen how people try to climb the ladder of power or position. Some butter up their bosses. Others work the room - networking, playing politics, bending the rules - anything to get ahead.

Introduction: Working in the corporate world for more than 18 years, I know well the everyday struggles we face - the deadlines that never seem to end, the constant pressure to perform, the politics that sometimes get in the way of doing the right thing. All around us, as leaders, we long to see real change. We try different strategies, programs, and initiatives. Sometimes we pour so much energy into them, yet true and lasting transformation seems just out of reach. That raises the question: How can we see our communities truly transformed?

There are moments in life when our prayers seem to echo in silence. Weeks stretch into months, months into years, and still, the heavens remain quiet. The story of Hannah beautifully mirrors the journey many of us face — a journey of waiting, weeping, and wondering if God is truly listening.
