A priest and pastor from the local parishes are standing by the side of the road holding up a sign that reads, "The End is Near! Turn yourself around now before it’s too late!"
"Leave us alone you religious nuts!" yelled the first driver as he sped by.
From around the curve they heard

HOT AIR
When we were building this sanctuary we were discussing whether to put paper towel dispensers in the new rest rooms or those hot-air hand dryers. I strongly recommended the paper towel dispensers because of a story I heard about at another church. They installed the hot-air hand dryers.

A CURE FOR FEAR
The story starts with a boy of 12 whose name was Jim. Jim was a pleasant young lad, but one day his mother became very ill, the doctor came and saw her, and he explained to Jim and his father that in all probability Jim's mother will die. Sad right?
Well, the day came for Jim's

A dear lady in the church I serve shared with me a poem she cut out of a magazine over 60 years ago. It has the spirit of what Dr. Graham’s mother felt about being a mother:
A Mother’s Prayer
Sing me no eulogy of praise,
Give me no hallowed stool;
Just let me be my children’s friend,

OLD WIVES' TALES: THE TRUTH
Have you ever believed something, only to find out that it wasn’t true? Consider these old wives tales:
"If you go outside with wet hair, you’ll catch a cold." Cold weather, wet hair, and chills don’t cause colds; viruses do.
"Reading in dim light will damage your

Augustine the fiery defender of the faith accepted Christ in the most unusual
way. After resisting God for a long time Augustine heard a child playing
nearby, saying, TOLLE LEGE, TOLLE LEGE, which means, Take, Read. He promptly
read a random verse from the Bible, Romans 13:13- 14, and gave his life
