[064]. A Message From A Poem – Dull The Sight - Life’s Not Right

[064]. A MESSAGE FROM A POEM – DULL THE SIGHT - LIFE’S NOT RIGHT
This short poem is a bit like a person trying to read with glasses that are smeared and hazy. What is read will be distorted and the wrong message will be gained. If he/she tries to walk around then an accident is a possibility.
That is the general idea of the poem and in the second stanza we look at the reason why our Christian lives are trying to walk in dull light and what we can do about it.
{{1 John 1:7 “but IF WE WALK IN THE LIGHT as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin “]]
Of course help comes from prayer and the bible, and sound Christian fellowship. {{Hebrews 10:25 “NOT FORSAKING OUR OWN ASSEMBLING TOGETHER, as is the habit of some, but ENCOURAGING ONE ANOTHER, AND ALL THE MORE, AS YOU SEE THE DAY DRAWING NEAR.”}}
{{James 5:19-20 “My brethren, if any among you strays from the truth, and ONE TURNS HIM BACK, LET HIM KNOW THAT HE WHO TURNS A SINNER FROM THE ERROR OF HIS WAY will save his soul from death, and will cover a multitude of sins.”}}
Let us all look ahead with clear vision.
I want to remind you that all my poems are available for Christian ministry. All are copyright but just acknowledge copyright and authorship. I am trusting God will use them for blessing as I know he has given them. Some of them can be sung in services, and some await melodies ?

DULL THE SIGHT - LIFE’S NOT RIGHT
If the light before you fades,
Is the problem with the light?
If the path a dullness has,
Perhaps the problem’s with your sight.
Dull perception, you will find,
When not discerning left from right,
Can be traced straight back to you.
Your viewfinder’s no longer bright.
==============================
Light has dimmed, the pathway grey:-
You’ve neglected God’s true word.
You have not discerned the truth,
And His inviting call not heard.
Read God’s word, and prayer renew.
Then let your heart by those, be stirred;
Pay attention to God’s voice,
And by unfailing love, be spurred.

People refuse to believe that which they don’t want to believe, in spite of evidence. You Are The Light Of The World!
Contributed by John Gaston on Sep 25, 2019
We are to be the light of God to this dark world. How? We're to lead morally, to point the way to God, to warn them of the dangers ahead, to serve, give, and sacrifice -- to show them the love of God. We will change the world one small kindness at a time.
