Introduction

Faith is the foundation of the Christian life. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Faith is not blind belief; it is trusting in the person and promises of Jesus Christ. Eternal life begins when we place our faith in Him.

1. Faith Is Trusting Jesus Alone

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” He did not say He is one of many ways. Faith means believing that Jesus alone is the way to God. We cannot reach eternal life through good works, religion, or human effort—only through Christ.

2. Faith Connects Us to Eternal Life

Eternal life is not only about heaven after death; it begins the moment we believe. When we put our faith in Jesus, we receive new life, forgiveness of sins, and a restored relationship with God. This life continues forever.

3. Faith Grows Through Obedience

True faith is visible through obedience. When we trust Christ, our lives begin to change. Our thoughts, actions, and priorities reflect our faith. Obedience is not a burden—it is evidence of living faith.

4. Faith Gives Assurance and Peace

Faith gives us confidence about our future. We do not fear death or judgment because our hope is in Christ. Eternal life gives us peace today and assurance for tomorrow.

Conclusion

Faith in Jesus Christ leads us to eternal life. When we trust Him completely, we receive forgiveness, peace, and a future filled with hope. Eternal hope is not found in this world—it is found in Christ alone.

Closing Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You for being the way, the truth, and the life. Strengthen our faith and help us trust You completely. Lead us into eternal life and keep us faithful until the end. Amen.
