God of all possibilities
Mat 19:26
I come today bringing good news. In a world full of bad news, could you use some good news?
The good news is Mat 19:26 "But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible." - With God all things are possible. There is nothing impossible for him. There is nothing too hard for him. He is the God of all possibilities. There is nothing he cannot do.
We see this all throughout the Bible.
For ex., you will see in the book of Genesis where God creates the heavens and earth out of nothing. He takes nothing and creates something. How can GOD take nothing and create something? Because he is the God of all possibilities.
You go to the last book of the Bible, the book of Revelation, and you will see where one day in the future God will split the sky open and come riding out of heaven on a white stallion. Who else can split the sky open and come riding out on a horse? No one but the God of all possibilities.
You read in the Gospels where a young girl, a virgin, becomes pregnant and gives birth to the Son of God. Who else can cause a virgin to become pregnant, without the involvement of a man, and give birth to the Son of God? No one but the God of all possibilities.
You read also in the Gospels where a man died, no hearbeat, no pulse, dead…. and 3 days later he rose from the grave alive. Who else can raise a dead man from the grave? No one but the God of all possibilities.
With God all things are possible. There is nothing impossible for him. There is nothing too hard for him. There is nothing he cannot do. He is the God of all possibilities.
Now brothers and sisters, with that in mind let me ask you, what are you calling impossible in your life right now?
A sickness that seems impossible to be healed?
A financial difficulty that seems impossible to be met.
A relationship problem that seems irreparable?
WHAT YOU ARE CALLING IMPOSSIBLE, God calls possible.
but with God all things are possible
Let’s look at some things that are possible with God. Things that you may be calling impossible.
1.First of all, there is no prayer he can’t answer.
What is it that you could ask God for that he cannot do? There is nothing to difficult, to hard you could ask God to do that he cannot do.
Jesus said Mar 9:23…, If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes.
He didn’t say if you can see it. Some people are blind. He didn’t say if you can buy it. Some people are poor.
No, he said if you can believe. We all can believe. You can be blind and believe. You can be poor and believe. And he said all things are possible to the one who believes. Can you believe? Then all things are possible.
Mar 11:24 Jesus says, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."
Someone will say, “I prayed and God didn’t answer.” There is no prayer he can’t answer.
God answers every prayer that is prayed. Jer 33:3 God says, "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." –
God says call unto me and I will answer thee. Let God be true and every man a liar. If God say he will answer he will. He may say yes, he may say no, or he may say wait, but there is no prayer he can't answer.
Pray and watch the God of all possibilities work in your life. There is no prayer he can’t answer. Won’t he do it?
2. There is no problem he can’t solve.
What problem could you bring to God and he couldn’t solve?
What sickness? what sadness? What struggle? What trial? What trouble? What difficulty? What discouragement, could you bring to God and he could not solve? Jesus said, with God all things are possible
Mat 19:26 … with men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
The dr. may say there’s nothing else we can do. The lawyer may say we’ve done all we can do. Man may say this is beyond our means, beyond our knowledge, beyond our resources, beyond our strength, but with God all things are possible.
There is no problem he can’t solve.
3. There is no promise he can’t keep.
What promise has God made that he can’t or won’t keep? There are some people who make promises they can’t keep and they don’t intend to keep, but not God. If God has promised, he is faithful to fulfill.
