  • Sermon or series that made a difference: Any sermon by John Piper
  • Family: Have been married to my wife Amanda for 8 years now. We have three awesome kids: Reagan, Sydney and Maddox.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: They are great as long as I am through in 25 minutes.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She is my biggest supporter and fan. She is also very honest with me. So when I stink she tells me.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: "State it, illustrate it, and apply it." "Lynn, you need to learn how to land the plane."
  • Books that have had an impact: Pretty much anything that John Piper has written. But most recently "This Momentary Marriage" and "Spectacular Sins". Purpose Driven Church by Rick Warren
  • Hobbies: Reading a good book & spending time with my beautiful family.
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No man can come to the Father but by Him. Repent, and turn to God so that you may be saved.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: A mother was nursing her newborn while I was giving the invitation.
  • What I want on my tombstone: God was most glorified in Lynn when Lynn was most satisfied in Him.
