Since the turn of the millenium our world has become increasingly polarizing with the growing presence of media in our everyday life. If we are being honest with ourselves, it has become all too easy to see someone on the other side of the political aisle or controversial issue as some kind of ignorant degenerate. We see this in the way that we drive as well. But we are in need of being humbled by the story of the Good Samaritan which displays a love that transcends the cultural boundaries of all civilizations. May God bless your congregation as they meditate upon the truth of love found in this account of Scripture.
