Isaiah says, "Hinneni," or, "HERE I AM," when God calls. The only way he can have this confidence is through knowing the forgiveness of Christ. When God call us we respond like Isaiah because of the cross alone.

We recently reintroduced a song which contained the lyrics "Take the coal, cleanse my lips, here I am". Most of the people in the church had no idea what they meant. Sadly, this is not unusual. Isaiah 6 was a great study of the coal from the altar of God!

There are only two places where we see the expression in the Bible, “Holy, Holy, Holy.” Isaiah 6:3 and the Apostle John’s praise and worship of God found in Revelation 4:8. Why is God considered Holy? Why did the Seraphim say Holy three times?
