  • Love Loves To Give

Contributed by Wade Martin Hughes, Sr on Dec 6, 2025
     | 404 views

God proves his love to humanity by GIVING THE BEST THING IN HEAVEN. Something is wrong when people say they love but they are unkind and disrespectful. For God so loved HE GAVE!

LOVE LOVES TO GIVE. By Wade Martin Hughes, Sr. Kyfingers@aol.com (YouTube: Wade Hughes) Years ago I heard PAUL BRANNON a lifelong missionary: WHERE THERE IS LOVE GIVING IS NEVER A SACRIFICE. I heard Lloyd Arnold say: IN ALL MY LOVE GIVING I HAVE NEVER MISSED IT OR REGRETTED IT. GOD’S ...read more

Why is giving thanks so important?

Do we give God thanks, fulfill promises and honor Him? Let’s look at Psalm 50. Has God summoned all humanity to tell us about something important? A psalm of Asaph. The Lord, the Mighty One, is God, and he has spoken; he has summoned all humanity from where the sun rises to where it sets. From ...read more

  • Fifth Sunday In Ordinary Time Year A-- 1/60th Of Salt

Contributed by Paul Andrew on Feb 7, 2026
     | 98 views

1/60 is 1.66%, adding this small amount of salt to food would not only be "flavorful" but would likely make the food taste quite salty!

For the Jewish people, 1/60th was the mathematical fraction if some non-Kosher food, like Korean Galbi -- marinated grilled beef or pork short ribs-- was accidently mixed-in to your Kosher food- it would still be OK to eat since 1/60th is such a small amount. Not 1/60th, but with lots of salt, ...read more

Jesus’ sacrifice fully cleanses our deepest guilt, offering complete forgiveness and hope, because we are more loved in Christ than we ever imagined.

Some stains laugh at soap. You scrub and soak, and they just smile back at you. Life has its stains too—memories that will not fade, words we wish we never said, habits that haunt our sleep. We carry quiet shame the way a traveler shoulders a heavy pack. We try harder, promise bigger, resolve ...read more

  • Dead Seeds PRO Sermon

Contributed by Sermon Research Assistant on Oct 4, 2025
    based on 3 ratings

True spiritual fruitfulness comes when we surrender our lives to God, trusting Him to bring new life and abundance from our acts of faith.

There’s a wonder in the way God works that often begins small and quiet, like a seed resting in the palm of your hand. If you’ve ever planted one, you know the hush of that moment. You press it into the soil, cover it with a thin blanket of earth, and walk away with a mixture of faith and ...read more

This Mother's Day sermon aims to honor and celebrate the significant roles of mothers in our lives, recognizing their sacrifices and expressing gratitude for their love and care, guided by relevant biblical scriptures.

Mother's Day is a time when we honor and celebrate the women who have played such important and integral roles in our lives. It’s not an exaggeration to say that none of us would be here today if not for our mothers. We also recognize that there are those in attendance today who’ve struggled in ...read more

The famous joke for children, explained biblically. This is the story of the good Samaritan with emphasis on the two men who didn't help the man in need.

Turn with me in your bibles to Luke chapter 10. Many of you have heard multiple times the story of the good Samaritan and think that because you have heard it so many times you can't get much out of it. I want to look at this story in a completely different light so you can get something out of ...read more

  • "What If I Give All I Have?" Series

Contributed by Rich Anderson on Jan 19, 2011

Giving all we have to God through Jesus Christ. We should give everything because it all belongs to God. And we should give gladly.

I read an alarming statistic. Annually, Americans spend more on dog food than on church contributions. We may want to review some priorities. I also read, “It’s not how much of my money will I give to God, but how much of God’s money will I keep for myself.” The ...read more

Not much is said about self-denial and sacrifice in today's church and society, but it is central to the life of a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Mark 8:31-38 “A Different Drummer” INTRODUCTION Selective hearing is a curious human phenomenon. We have the ability to hear only what we want to hear. Teenagers can hear the word “food,” but they have trouble hearing, “Do your homework,” or “Take ...read more

A very underestimate phrase is that Jesus is our Good Shepherd. What does this truly mean? The enemy’s policy by comparison is shocking?
