Contributed by Garrett Tyson on Oct 27, 2025
     | 421 views

As an encouragement, Jesus gives John a vision/revelation of heavenly reality. There is a throne higher than Caesar's. That throne isn't empty. And our holy God is coming soon.

Today, we find ourselves in the first of two chapters in Revelation, that I consider to be at its very heart. Revelation 4, and 5. Arguably, these two chapters in their own way are the very heart of the Bible, as well. There are things in these chapters that are not necessarily obvious, that ...read more

There are moments in Scripture where heaven is pulled back like a curtain and we are allowed to see reality as it truly is. Revelation chapter 4 is one of those moments. John is not speculating; he is worshipping. He is not explaining God away; he is beholding God in His fullness.

  • How Does The Bible Describe God?

Contributed by Dr. Odell Belger on May 9, 2025
     | 806 views

If someone asked you to describe your best friend, you would be able to describe them thoroughly. If someone asked you to describe God according to what the scriptures says about Him, COULD YOU DESCRIBE HIM THOROUGHLY?

It is important that we learn all we can learn about God from the scriptures. Why? • Because we really cannot WORSHIP GOD unless WE KNOW HIM. • Because we really cannot SERVE GOD unless WE KNOW HIM. • Because we cannot BECOME if we do not know what kind of God He is. You see, a lot of folks ...read more

  • Full Of Eyes

Contributed by Samuel M on Oct 3, 2025

The living creatures’ vision and eyesight is full of God. Having so many eyes is a figurative speech for saying that their vision is full of God. All their focus is only on God, and they do not see anything else. They perceive nothing else; they are solely focused on God.

And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. Revelation 4:6 I wondered why the living creatures had so many eyes, both in front and behind them. I've recently come to realize that the phrase "full of eyes" or ...read more
